The short version

Optery Reviews is a content site. We don’t ask you to create an account, we have no forms or newsletter, we don’t collect your name or email, and we don’t sell data. We measure traffic with analytics, and we earn a commission if you sign up for Optery through our links. That is the entire business model.

What gets collected

Because there is nothing here to sign up for, we collect no personal information that you type. What is collected happens automatically:

Cookies

Analytics cookies are the only cookies this site sets. They exist to count visits and show us which pages are useful. You can block them in your browser settings or with any content blocker, and the site will work exactly the same. Separate third-party cookies may be set by Optery after you click through to their site.

Affiliate disclosure

Links to Optery on this site are referral links. If you subscribe through one, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This funds the site. It does not change what we publish: we include critical reviews, and the platform ratings we display are the platforms’ own numbers, which we cannot edit. Our methodology page explains how reviews are sourced and selected.

The reviews we quote

The reviews on this site were published publicly by their authors on Trustpilot, the Better Business Bureau, the Apple App Store, and Google Play. We quote them with the display name and date shown on the original platform, and we publish no contact details. If you wrote a review quoted here and want it removed from this site, contact us and we will take it down. Removing it from the original platform is a separate request to that platform.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, for example under GDPR in the EU and UK or the CCPA and CPRA in California, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data about you, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information. You can opt out of analytics at any time by blocking cookies in your browser or enabling its Global Privacy Control signal.

Children

This site is intended for adults researching privacy services and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date at the top.
