Easy to use and GREAT support.

The initial setup of the product was about as easy as it could be. Provide some information, and let the product do it's work. I can't speak on the quality of the end result quite yet as I've only just started using the system, but so far it seems to be working EXACTLY as advertised. I had a couple of questions and wanted to provide some feedback (Dark theme mode, and Hardware Key authentication for the account), and the online chat support was VERY quick to reply (within just a few minutes), answered my questions, and seemed to accept my feedback in a positive manner. Because of my experience now after only just 2 days, I've gone ahead and purchased an Ultimate subscription, and am certain I won't regret it! UPDATE: Just a couple of weeks after writing this review, as well as sending a dark theme suggestion email, they've introduced dark mode!!! This company is great, for the simple fact that they listen to customer feedback, which is rare these days.

Service that is definitely worth it!

I don't write many reviews but Optery has been such a beneficial and worthwhile service that I decided to do so for once. It is definitely worth it. Before you signup, check for discounts/promo codes. You'll probably find something you can use. They have discounts for folks such as teachers, students, domestic violence and stalking victims, healthcare workers, and more. I recommend the annual billing cycle both for a better discount and it plays into one of the reasons I really like Optery - it is a set it and forget it service. I happily let it work in the background and do its thing. They send out quarterly reports showing the progress they've made and info they've removed from online brokers. Tried doing this myself for a while, but there are too many sites to stay on top of. Ohh and some of those sites will remove your data for a period of time but then it'll be reposted there later. Optery's continual monitoring helps tackle those cases and all of the other hard to remove data brokerage sites. Definitely worth it!

I’ve had the Optery Ultimate Plan for over six months now, and I can’t say enough positive things about the plan and the customer service I have received from Optery. The by-monthly report I receive is easy to read and understand. The Dashboard is also easy to navigate and informs you of your completed and pending removals. Most importantly, I can't say enough about Optery’s customer service. Every email I have sent asking a question has been answered quickly, and my questions are always thoroughly answered. I have occasionally asked questions about other ways to protect myself that might not fall under Optery’s services. An Essential Service If We Value Our Privacy!

Optery offers a valuable service at a reasonable price. In today's world, digital privacy is very difficult to achieve. For nearly two centuries in this nation, our laws recognized that privacy is "the right to be left alone." Regrettably, those days are far behind us. Today, our data is big business. Corporations believe our data is THEIR property simply because they have monitored, collected, archived, and sold information about our personal online behavior and buying habits... consistently without our permission or even our awareness. This is a twisted and self-serving viewpoint to be sure, but it is indeed today's reality. Optery offers individuals an affordable and convenient method to push back a bit on the bazillion data aggregators. Sadly, they collect and sell our information with complete abandon. The service offered by Optey scrubs this information quite well... and rescrubs it when it reappears (a constant battle). In previous years, I spent the time and effort to clean up this digital "bread crumb trail" by my own efforts. Within a few short years, aggregators became so prolific that my personal efforts were totally insufficient (and I'm a retired CEO from the computer industry).Upon discovering Optery, I was a bit skeptical at first. I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but I am absolutely hopping mad. I signed up for [Optery], and they managed to remove my personal information from 400+ data broker sites. What makes me angry is what happened afterward. Once they removed me, I realized my spam dropped to almost nothing. I used to get absolutely mail-bombed with spam emails. It was so bad that I had to move my domain to [Fastmail) just to have any hope of controlling my inbox. Now it’s obvious what was happening: bots, spammers, and other automated systems were pulling my information directly from the data broker databases that Optery removed me from. Even my spam calls finally started going down. I am furious that I found this out so late. I’ve been dealing with endless spam calls and email bombardment for years, and all this time my personal data was just sitting out there, feeding these systems. It takes a while to get off those 400+ data broker sites but be patient, it is worth the wait!!!!!

Ive been using Optery for close to 2 years now and can confidently say it is the best Opt-out platform available today for protecting your information from being shared/sold and stolen online. And YES, YOU ARE AT RISK OF THIS! It drastically reduces your digital footprint of information by going to these nasty companies called Data Brokers which are extremely under-regulated data hoards, and opting you out and removing your (YES, YOUR) information from public view. Got an Ex thats stalking you? Getting Doxxed playing video games? Want significantly less junk mail (email too) and less spammy text messages? I have tried almost all of the somewhat decent looking competitors and none of them come close to the that Optery offers. Optery covers hundreds of brokers compared to DeleteMes 70. covers a decent amount of brokers, but doesnt match the quality and respect offered. Not to mention is run by a shady offshore company that runs its own as well. They claim to remove you from the same services that they run and own???Incogni spams all of your personal information to every broker with their request to opt you out. Optery customer service is top-notch. Extremely knowledgeable and reliable. You have a random question at midnight? Theyre there to answer it most of the time! Special shoutout to Aubrielle in the customer service department!The dashboard is clean and years ahead of the competitors. They offer direct links and pictures to where your data is exposed for each broker. As well as screenshot proof of when its removed.For anyone reading this, Id recommend the Ulitmate plan as you get 270+ brokers covered and an assigned privacy agent for on your removals. The scan bot can only do so much. And on top of that, they offer continual monthly scanning.

My wife and I both subscribe to Optery's core plan which was successful in identifying our information listed on 103 different websites. The Core plan was successful in removing the information from nearly 70% of those sites. The other 30% were not covered under the core plan. However, Optery did provide me the links to remove our information from the rest of those sites, which I was able to do. If you choose to do it yourself, be prepared to spend a lot of time sitting at a lap top visiting those websites. Some really make you jump through hoops to get your information removed. I think I have solved every captcha known to man. When my subscription ends in a year I may kick it up to the Ultimate plan so that I don't have to go through that again. It's amazing and downright scary the places that have/had our information. In some cases, it wasn't even correct. It has taken some time but I have notice a sharp decrease in the number of calls and emails I get asking me to sell my home or take out a loan.

So far so good. I just recently signed up for the Ultimate plan and am hopeful that over the coming months I'll see my info removed from lots of sites. I've been very happy so far with how responsive the company has been to my questions. I made an error when entering my info during sign up which messed up my exposure report. corrected my mistake and ran another scan of the web for my info. I hope I'll be motivated to write another positive review in a few months once the opt out requests take effect.

I've been using Optery's Ultimate package for over a year now and they've scrubbed about 75% of my personal data off the net! Frequent updates and reports are plainly laid out and you can see clearly where you currently stand. The website presentation and maneuverability is sleek and fuid. I rarely take the time to leave reviews but I couldn't resist for this product. About 25 hours ago I signed up for Optery's least expensive subscription and I couldn't be more satisfied. I've wanted to scrub my digital identity ever since some data brokers falsely accused me of crimes I didn't commit. But I never really thought it would be possible because there are hundreds of sites dealing in our personal data. But Optery has given me new hope. The best part is I can check Optery's performance myself by comparing my own searches against the screenshots they emailed me after they scanned. And that's what I just did, spent 3 hours manually checking dozens of sites to see if my data was removed simply to satisfy my own curiosity. And all except one were deleted--within 24 hours! And the reason the one hadn't deleted is because they requested an ID first, (PeopleWhizr.net). The proof is in the seeing. Fantastic Customer Service

I reached out to Optery because my subscription renewed and I had completely forgotten to cancel it beforehand. I noticed the charge and canceled right away, then contacted support to explain what happened and ask if a refund would be possible since the renewal had just happened. Wayne got back to me so quickly and took care of everything; he canceled my subscription and refunded the payment without any issues. I really appreciated how fast and easy the whole process was. I've had ongoing problems with a violent stalker for four years. This man confessed to police that he was able to access my personal information from a data broker website. He made threats of violence, vandalized my house and vandalized my parents' house (he could access their info online, too). He impersonated me online, set up accounts in my name, and tried to engage in financial identity theft. This man is in prison now for 17 years. In the space of about a month --thanks to Optery-- Im unable to do a search on or Bing and find a website to a data broker website which has my name, address, phone number and email accounts. has given me my privacy and safety back at the monthly price of a meal . I am encouraging everyone I know to use Optery.. I really have to conclude that data brokers are on the same level as a stalker. What they do is reprehensible. So much better than Incogni and other competitors! The quarterly PDF "removal progress report" provides AMAZING visibility into what exactly they're actually doing, and even showed me that my personal info was being listed on many lookup-sites that I didn't even know existed! The Optery system uses screenshots in their reports to really show you first hand what information about you is out there, and then after their removal, demonstrates that it no longer shows up. Now that's a great service!

Good so far. I went with the Ultimate plan for one month. It was about $25 dollars, there's a discount if you do yearly subscription but I wanted to test it first. Its only been about a week but reports show that it is removing my info from about 150 sites. I've even noticed a decreased amount of spam callers everyday. I might get one once every two days, informing me of loan applications missing information or some other BS. I was getting the same spammer from a different number 2 to 3 times a day, so it is a step in the right direction. If Optery keeps this up, I will be a long time consumer.

Since joining Optery, my robo calls have stopped. I ws getting six to ten a day, every day. Once subscribed, they have stopped. Been over six months. Money well spent. They helped me during a difficult time

This company really helped me when I was being harassed by someone online, they had found all of my previous addresses and were able to get ahold of my Mother and Fathers phone numbers including mine aswell, I cant speak on their customer service as I never had to contact anyone in support but the subscription really gave me peace of mind while that whole ordeal was going on, I would honestly reccomend this service

Optery is very thorough, going state-by-state to remove your information where you might not have thought to look. I would have kept the plan if I could have afforded it. I can't right now, but I do recommend it for people who wish to guard their privacy, especially their physical location. They are methodical, and that helps me to feel a little bit safer in this world.

For years I thought I was immune to this privacy invasion. I didn't use social media, protected my phone numbers, etc. I had no idea there were hundreds of "data brokers" posting my "personal data". Optery saved me tons of time! Removing one's information from the internet is a huge task and Optery does a great job. They even provide the proof of their success via screen shots of before and after searches for each website, clearly demonstrating that your information has been removed. I'd prefer a one-time, fixed term plan versus a subscription. But cancelling the subscription was easy.

As advertised and worry free

Frustrated by how invasive my info had become, I researched options and used Optry with most, but not all, its bells and whistles. My info didn’t get out there overnight and cleaning it up isn’t overnight, either. I’m well past the apex of my life span and quite a bit is out there LOL. From the first week through now (3 months) a good number of ID’d sites are cleaned and the rest being worked on. Thorough search, thorough clean, follows up, and understandable emailed updates. IMO Optry delivers.

Optery is an excellent company that excels in keeping my data out of data brokers' hands. They also provide exceptional customer service when you have a question and respond quickly. They will also prorate your charges if you downgrade or upgrade during the cycle. They consistently keep me under 10% exposed online, which is very good because it’s a constant fight to keep your data private. Once one data broker has your data, it’s shared again with others. I am pleased with the 3 years I have used them, and I also added a family member to receive a discount.

Honest. Offer refund before I had to ask.

Very good customer service. In my case, Optery found only 1 result, and they told me Canadians average around 17. Before I even asked for anything, they contacted me and asked if I wanted a refund. I really appreciated that. It felt honest, proactive, and fair. Many companies would have said nothing, so this left me with a very positive impression.

Even the $3.99 month option was very effective. Within one month's time so much of my information was removed. When I Google search for my name, the results are much cleaner and only show what I don't mind being public.

Excellent service. They have reached more than half of the data brokers, although, I still receive at least 10 phone calls from scammers and political requests. Expect it to happen for more than a month. Mine took 6 months or so. I cancelled due to cost, but plan to return in a year or so to subscribe and have Optery run the search again, and clean up anything of mine that is out there from the previous year.

Optery is doing a great job, erasing my footprints on the web and important information. Recently to companies gave me a "complementary" scan. One came up with only two results. One of the two was my ex. The other came up with 3 and I opted out with one.

At the beginning of Septemberi was in a terrible fix. I had all kinds of trouble with fraud, identity theft and each day the pile of chaos kept getting deeper and deeper. I tried finding someone to help me clear an overwhelming amount of compounding issues. I had to have contacted at least 10 companies that claimed they could do the job, none of them even came close to hear the problems I was dealing with. This is about when Optery came into the picture. With all the irons I had inthe fires, I was the only one getting burnt. Over a few days, I received another notice from Optery. They're presentation was near flawless. Even though I am a novice at the internet, I had been a tradesman and knew a professional when I saw one. With all of the fraudulent promises, and product I felt that this was going to be a keeper. My instincts were right, OPTERY came through miraculously, with barely a casual first discussion they came through they came through with their promises and so much more. I tested the waters of Optery for several months before reviewing them. The verdict? They have very impressive data scrubbing services. I give them a 4 out of 5 cause NOTHING's perfect. But within 3 months, they've scrubbed my data from over a couple hundred data broker sites. Not only that, but they email you monthly progress reports of the specific sites that your data's been removed from. You receive a before and after screenshot chart. You can easily proof their statements with a simple search engine check of your name. I chose the Ultimate package at sign up for maximum effect. Obviously, many people have common full names. When you sign up, you can list a history of addresses, numbers, and household residents to be as precise as possible when they scrub the data. So far so great! Give them at least 90 days to work for a maximum effect.

I check the monthly reports for myself and so far they have been really good at finding my information online and also showing proof of deletion. The only reason I’m taking off a star from the review is because of their app. I feel like it needs to be more user friendly and more convenient for the user. The amount they charge for their service, I would also want a very decent app for that price too.

Suspiciously few reviews and many typos but seemingly legit?

I discovered this service through PC Mag’s pretty glowing review and decided to take the leap with Optery’s most expensive plan (relatively reasonably priced for the market, as far as I can tell). But I have to say I’m a bit put off by the number of typos and at-times counterintuitive and/or buggy interface — this may be more telling about me but I’m pretty wary of handing over my personal information to an outfit that, say, mixes up “then” and “than” or “it’s” and “its”. It just doesn’t instill much confidence in the site’s reputability or authenticity.At the time I write this, Optery is still processing my scan that I initiated about two hours ago; by contrast, Mozilla’s free scan took about a minute or two, with albeit a smaller database to search from. I’ll try to remember to update this review if anything major happens (either good or bad), but so far I’m a little skeptical but cautiously optimistic.

I don't know if it's worth the money, but it covers a lot of data brokers. What I learned about searching them is that they all seem to be backdoors for Intellius, one of the worst data brokers out there.

Does not accurately find matches of your data on the data Brokers despite entering my information so it could be accurate. 60-70% is incorrect.... + offers alerts for free + has many tiers (low one should be doble)

Second response to response from Optery: Kindly delete my account. Do not share or sell my info. Thanks This is a response to the response from Optery: I do not know what other details you may need. The Captcha issue is self explanatory. Blurred and unclear pictures that are not easy to make out and the system issues a steady stream of rejections or requests to verify more photos of motorcycles, cars, etc ad nauseum. After several minutes of this exercise I had to get on with other matters in life. The email spam is relentless-a continual stream of phishing for insurance, contest wins, financial scams, On any given day I average about 100 of these crapograms. When I do these myself periodically I focused on the larger brokers and it would make a dent for a time. However that does not mean these entries are truly deleted as I am requesting their removal again from the same entities. I opted to start with a basic plan to see if my quality of online life would improve. Barely made a ripple. You are certainly free to remove the review as you threatened if I did not respond. I imagine few would really believe that EVERYONE is giving 5 stars. I will continue doing what I can on my own and save myself a few bucks. Kindly delete the account and DO NOT SHARE OR SELL MY INFO TO ANYONE. The captcha is the first annoying thing about this software. Logging in is a nightmare. Many of these images are grainy and poorly focused. As far as improving my spam intake, hah! I'm as buried as ever. I did better when I did this on my own. The brokers are not necessarily obliged to delete the data from their databases.

They may remove your info from small brokers but the large ones they either don't have any sway or are owned by them. Intelius Radaris addresses I've been waiting two years in some cases. And if they can't get it removed from the large ones, it doesn't matter how many small ones they remove because they'll just repopulate from the large ones. -- UPDATE -- Optery reached out to me to investigate the issues and basically told me they have a list of "known bad brokers" they have little to no success removing you from. Despite this, these brokers are in their list of you being "removed" from. I showed them 2 brokers, one on the list, another not. Both I've been waiting 2+ years for removal. I asked for an ETA. No response yet.

not much has changed .. I was desperate for relief from all the spam texts.. hoped the basic $40 plan would help.. alas, spam texts persist, plentifully after 4 months. Also, the status reports break the progress into three categories: In-progress, Pending (isn’t that the same as “in-progress”??) and “Removed/Not Found.” WHY are “Removed” and Not-found lumped into one? I can’t tell if they’ve only managed to remove 1 while 100 others are “not found.” Needs to be more transparent. And what’s the difference between pending and in-progress. Come on y’all. Either way, 4 months in, there appears to be no difference in the amount of spam I’m receiving :/

Solid Start, Shady Tactics Afterward

Optery will create fake screenshots to lure you into paying again. At the outset, it was a good service, until they started faking results and deliberately slacking to keep you subscribed. I would have been more inclined to pay if they were transparent, but clearly they don’t see it that way. Good initial service, terrible after the first round of deletions. Do yourself a favor and stick to the main data brokers, opt out yourself from people connect then use incogni for spam calls. Use free kanary to scan your search results. After noticing, I’m convinced Optery could even go back and opt you back in just to keep the payments coming. I’m done with Optery.

Waste of money!

Waste of money. There is no way to verify that the actions they claim to take have actually been taken. I saw little to no apparent progress in 6 month's time, other than my account being charged right on time. They also charged me on the day of the new period after I had already cancelled and received confirmation weeks before. The dashboard looks fancy like they are doing all kinds of stuff, but it has not changed in months. My guess is the companies that are selling people's information are much smarter and more diligent than Optery is. They will never stop and Optery is no help.

The app is a great alternative to using a browser. Please add the option to switch between light and dark modes.

it says a lot of data is deleted but were 9 months in since signing up and a google search of my name and town and basically reveals my name, age, house pics, address, cell phone number, and friends and family (and all of their info too) are there, first and second link from a simple google search. its ridiculous.

If your life is on the line lower your expectations

Had it for almost a year now and it can't seem to finish the job. Dont expect much if your life is in danger! For several years now these companies have existed and the entire industry is one big scam. The laws in California make it to where your private information is available again a year after meaning that you have to pay a subscription service to have privacy. God forbid you have a stalker or somebody trying to kidnap your kid or if you have somebody in another country looking up your public records with a simple search and deciding to steal your parents retirement. The sites even make extrapolations that people that lived in your house 10 years before you were there or somehow your sibling. Let's not pretend that internet services are hard work. They are initially and then they have difficulties as they arrive but the majority of it is automated. 10 months in and still a lot of sites have no results. It really does seem like they draw out the process especially during the first three to six months in order to milk you for more money while making it look like they're doing something. With as much heinous criminal activity and mental illness in the world today it is unacceptable how long this process takes. The fact that my life wasn't taken while waiting for them to get their crap together is a miracle.

Not Happy with Results

I can’t say I am happy with their service I did a family service plan and only do I get a lot of junk mail still, I google myself and see my name everywhere and all my info. I am into my 2nd year with their service and if I see no improvement I will change next year.

Don't pay for this service

I paid for ultimate tier and am fed up. They are deceitful about what they do. They combine the items they removed with items they didn't find were compromised or needed attention. I messaged for a more specific breakdown of how much has been actually removed and they said they don't have that data which is either dishonest or a system designed to avoid record keeping of the one thing they actually do so they can get credit for sites that weren't compromised in the first place. The graphic showing what is being removed (or what didn't need to be removed) has crept along for 5 months, still over a quarter of sites in progress. My spam calls and texts and mail has not reduced. For over ~$125 paid at this point, I would expect a lot better service. Prices have skyrocketed in recent years for this service but you are clearly not getting what you pay for. I can't imagine at this speed the ultimate price got me any special time or attention. If you want to pay for years to eventually get removed, pay for Optery. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

With Optery, Forget About DuckDuckGo and Yahoo "They Don't Even Scan Them"

I recently subscribed to Optery's Ultimate plan, which explicitly promises comprehensive scanning and removal of personal data from all major search engines, including DuckDuckGo and Yahoo. I even paid extra for their "Custom Scan". I discovered that Optery was not scanning or removing my data from DuckDuckGo or Yahoo at all. When I contacted customer support, they essentially admitted this limitation, stating that their service primarily focuses on data brokers. They tried to dismiss DuckDuckGo and Yahoo as "search engines and content platforms" rather than data brokers, a weak excuse that directly contradicts Optery’s own marketing promises. This is classic bait-and-switch. They advertise broad protection across "all search engines" to attract customers, then hide behind technical definitions once you’ve paid. If removing your personal information from DuckDuckGo and Yahoo is important to you, Optery will not deliver on what they promise. I am canceling my subscription immediately and will be looking for a more honest and capable service. Save your money and look elsewhere if comprehensive search engine removal is what you actually need.

It is not effective in removing your info. It grabs someone else data and show a picture that it is removed when it is not yours. 80% is not me. Sorry I can't recommend this.

The first few days the app showed some results in removing my info. At that time it showed multiple removals "pending", however, after a few months this did not change. Not worth it.

I’m extremely disappointed with Optery. Customer service is basically non-existent. There’s no phone number to call and speak with a real person — everything is handled by bots or automated responses, which makes it impossible to get actual help when you need it.I paid for the highest level plan expecting better support and more hands-on service, but it feels no different from the free version. The platform did identify a few sites that supposedly needed to be contacted to remove my data, but they haven’t even reached out to those sites. So I’m paying for a premium service that isn’t actually doing the work it claims to do.Your only option for customer service is email or a chat in the app that requires you to send a message with your info they already have to answer basic questions each time. Overall, it feels misleading to charge for a top-tier plan when the level of service is the same as the free option. If you’re expecting real support or proactive data removal, don’t expect much. Very frustrating experience.

Complete innacurate results

I thought I’d check out the free version with the idea of buying the subscription, but with massive number of false positives there’s no way I could justify paying for this. My first, last name is fairly common. But my middle name isn’t. Still the software served me hundreds of instances with people with completely different middle names. I could understand if the middle name was absent or just the middle initial was used, but when the middle name is nowhere near my middle name it’s bad software algorithms at work.UPDATE: as they requested I provided them with an email with more details. I got back a canned response that pushes a subscription to solve my problem. Suggestions included all the things I initially did based on their recommendations to get more accurate data. Why on earth would I subscribe when the free data they have provided is so wildly inaccurate?

horrible experience with the website

horrible experience. after a year of ok service I got a notice that it would auto-renew. I did not want to do that. The links provided in the email did not work. I attempted to sign on to the website and was confronted with one of those GD gotcha screens with tiny blurry pictures that as a 78 year old I could not read nor enlarge. I am enraged by those and cancel any organization that uses them. I cant cancel my account because I cant sign into it. I tried resetting the password twice and both times it times out in less than 30 seconds, something I have never seen before. Customer service is only by email. We'll see if they will cancel it. Frankly the results they provided, about 50%, are not worth the hassle.

My subscription is canceled - continued billing attempts

I started my Ultimate service on August 13. My subscription was canceled on September 13, as confirmed on Optery’s website and via email, due to a declined payment method. Optery is no longer providing services to me, and there is no option to cancel my account because it is already canceled. Despite this, Optery has attempted to charge me $19.99 eight times since September 13. This is not a situation where service continued past the membership already paid in advance. My use of the service also coincided with a spike in calls to a number that had not been used before. Update: I was also contacted 4 times by "Leonard" via email, including one that stated, "Bumping this up in your inbox again." Maybe a total of 14 emails + at least 1 robocall since September 13th about a membership that is already canceled. There is no cancel button or option to end the membership. It has already been done. The only option is to permanently delete my data with them. To recap, as of today, I have attempted to authorize it for a canceled membership, simply so they could start it up again. Plus, an AI bot sent an email for the sole purpose of making sure your AI bot thinks something is more important by adding more junk.

Optery didn't delete my husbands data and continues to solicit me and won't stop

Optery didn't remove my husband's data, even though I paid for a family plan, this went on for 3 months. It took me a lot of time and frustration to sort this out. One customer service rep wanted me to pay more, then another rep found that my husband had been paid for. I found a much better site called Delete Me that gives you a customer service phone number, easy to sign up, and a trusted site for over 10 years with top reviews. 2 weeks later Optery continues to send me ads after being assured I am off their mailing list.

Their entire Service is a Joke- I have been paying for the last 12 months for this service , and the majority of the brokers that I show up on have not been removed- you are better off visiting each website and opting out yourself / even if it takes a Herculean effort . Someone needs to look into this entire industry Including Data Brokers - I recently found out / that this is just level one - there is a second level through services like Lexus Nexus that not even an act of Congress will remove your data from. It is there and they refuse to remove it . (In our case we have a legitimate reason since we fell Victims to Corrupt paid off Police Officers in a dangerous county in the state of Maryland . (At least the FBI is investigating our case)

Data Brokers will have ( and sell ) your information anyway, with OR without Optery. I used this comany along with 2 others at the same time for months and guess what? I am still on 22 websites.Optery was the SLOWEST in removing anything out of all of the ones i used. Optery and Surfshark ( Incogni ) bug me Weekly with spam emails months after i quit using them to buy their product again ! Why would I pay more money for a service that takes your money and does not solve the problem ? They may take a few off but your info will pop up again soon on another site. The real problem is the Government not dealing with these Data brokers. Optery, Please take me off your mailing list, your product is a waste of hard earned money.

I used Optery to check whether my personal information was available online. Before using the service, I searched for my name on Google and could not find any results containing my personal information. After running an Optery scan, the service reported only one result on Bing related to my name. Since there was only a single result, I cancelled my subscription. Exactly one week later, I searched my name on Google again. This time, my name, email address, phone number, employer, and job title all appeared on the first page of search results. I have never publicly shared that information myself. It's a scam that'll exploit you to hook you on a subscription forever.

Not great at removal at all.

I've been a customer since Oct 2025 force one year membership, so at the time of this writing its been nearly 9 months, At this time you would think some of the spam calls, and text have reduced but sadly no it has not, and the dashboard still shows PENDING removal for about 25%+ of the sites available. Save your money and go with a different product!

After removing myself from obvious search sites— while under Optery service—, I wondered why I had to do this myself. I accomplished this faster than Optery so I closed my account. Immediately my spam mail was full of emails I had never received before and I found myself AGAIN listed on sites I was supposedly deleted from. I still get Optery notifications regarding sites they supposedly removed me from. I cannot help but wonder if they do this so I’ll renew with them.

This is a SCAM! Every time that I Google my own name and ask for address, i get the full address in less than a minute. It doesn't even take time searching through various sites and links. IN UNDER A MINUTE, I FIND MY FULL ADDRESS. I have reported this to Optery and they will ask for the link to the site, but there are multiple sites. Why are they charging for a service that isn't working at all? I HAVE A STALKER AND WAS DOING THIS FOR SAFETY. BUT THIS IS A SCAM SCAM SCAM!

Wow, what a scam. I paid for the "extended" plan. I just kept seeing "pending" on all the sites they claimed they scanned. Give it a week or two, fine. Now I get a "report" of everything they "found" But (while they did take my money) the report says I'm on the free/basic plan, please upgrade and we'll do the job we promised. Nope, can't be trusted. I am a graphic design grad, an engineer at heart, and I dabble in forgery just to prevent myself from being duped on the street. my opinion, there's someone behind the scenes implanting info they can find on Google, into their masked screenshots, showing u fake results and then charging you to have them... "removed" so I suggest against this kind of thing from here on out.

I tried to unsubscribe from all the promotional emails and every time I hit unsubscribe it asked me another question about upgrading instead of unsubscribing me. if I click unsubscribe I'm not asking for another sales pitch. I should have to repeatedly ask you to unsubscribe. I ask. You do. It should be that simple. so because of the predatory nature of that exchange I think I'll find another service.

After a couple of months of a paid subscription, their system says that my info has been removed from 70% of its listed brokers, but I still see my info on all of them. Seems this service is a scam. Will be consulting counsel on taking action.

I paid for the monthly service to this company for over a year! All of my information that i wanted removed from were still there. They would send me monthly updates stating that they removed all of this so-called information on me but when i would my name, everything was still there.This company's service is a scam - do not use them!

Restarted ultimate membership after a year, and a month later, all of my information is up on all the major data brokers like Intelius and Spokeo. They also take days to weeks to reply to emails and are not investigating the issue. This is despite them reassuring me due to my domestic violence situation. company and ineffective.

Four days after signing up info was still clearly not removed from even major sites. Decided to cancel. Now they want to keep my entire yearly subscription fee. If it was after the 30 days OK but I was well within the 30 days.

TERRIBLE!!! Bought the most expensive program. Contacted them over a month ago about them getting me mixed up with other people. None of my info is gone. Not worth the money. I would like my money back. This is a waste.

I like the service, but not a big fan of the app. Biggest complaint being that you have to sign in every time you open it. Which I get from a security standpoint, and it would be fine if you could just do it with biometrics/passkey, but you can't. The most efficient login method offered is singing in through 3rd party logins like Google, which makes no sense to require every time you open an app. The app is on your phone, your account is on your phone, so more steps but not more security.

I'm glad there is now an app but where is the Dark Mode option in the app? All the bright white is killing my eyes & my phone's battery.
